The Comprehensive Plan

To ensure the Library’s continued viability, in December 2014, the Board of Trustees of The Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls commissioned Optimal Performance by Design, LLC to guide it in the creation of a comprehensive plan for action.  This plan, once created and implemented, would enable the Library to offer a 21st Century library experience as it was transformed into a center for lifelong learning and knowledge exchange.  The official Comprehensive Plan was presented to the Board on May 30, 2015, and was then unanimously adopted at the June 8, 2015 regular board meeting.

The plan is organized into five “pillars” of support, each guiding a specific component of the plan’s implementation. These five pillars operate as library committees, and membership in one of these committees is open to the public.
