Quick question as one of my Engineers asked, is there Asbestos in the Walls or that old flooring?
The building was erected in 1903. I am almost positive there is asbestos in the flooring. I am not 100% sure with the walls, but I would err on the side of caution.
It was brought to my attention that the dates on the RFP are inconsistent. Deadline for sealed proposals says March 25th however the timeline says March 24th.
Due to some scheduling conflicts, I will be unable to open the bids on the 24th as I will be in Harrisburg. I need to change up the response parameters. Due to this I can extend the deadline to receive the bids to March 25th by 2:00pm which is what the top of the RFP states. I would still like the paper copies; however, can you e-mail the bids to me at john.sanderbeck@cflbf.org and I will review them on my way back from Harrisburg. I will send out the bid award letter on Wednesday the 26th in the morning as I have to file the 471 the same day.
